Take Care Pushed Back

Drake Works with Stevie Wonder on New Album

After months of waiting in anticipation of his sophomore album Take Care, fans will have to wait a few more weeks.  Drake announced today through his blog site that the new release date for the album had been pushed back to 11/15 to give him time to clear a few samples.  In the post, Drake mentioned that he contemplated releasing the album without those samples but decided in the end to push the release date back so he wouldn’t have to compromise his vision for the album.  Drake also said that dates for the Club Paradise tour would be pushed back to Christmas break so that he could reach more students while touring.

Fresh off a #1 record debut and tons of hype, Drake is embarking on the The Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour with four stops scheduled as of this writing. The man has been selling Drake tickets like nobody’s business and there’s every reason to believe there’s going to be a ton of attention on the Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour with special guest Clipse. With Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later flying of the shelves, with only Eminem’s Recovery outpacing him in sales, you know The Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour is going to be a very hot tour.

Joining Drake on stage at the The Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour will be special guest, Clipse. The official name of the tour is the AT&T Presents The Light Dreams And Nightmares Tour and its going to be one heck of a show. The four stops on the Drake tour are Chicago for two shows, Detroit and Wallingford CT. Due to overwhelming demand for the Drake Light Dreams and Nighmares Tour in Chicago a second date was added to the Chicago Theater. So Drake will perform in Chicago on October 13 and 14.

Here are the full stops on Drakes The Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour:

  • The Chicago Theatre in Chicago, IL on Wednesday October 13 at 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday October 14, also at 8:00 p.m.
  • Fox Theatre Detroit Detroit, MI on Tuesday October 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Stay tuned to Drake tickets for the latest news, and we’ll be sure to let you know if more dates are added to Drakes The Light Dreams and Nightmares Tour. I know that with only four dates on the tour there is no way everyone who wants to see a Drake concert will be able to. So hopefully he’ll add some more dates.

Also known as Drizzy and Young Angel, Drake has been putting out chart-busting hits left and right, despite the small detail that he has no label, yet. Drake busted onto the scene with the self-released “Succesful” featuring Trey Songz and Lil Wayne. Recently “Every Girl” has been on the radio all over the place, and “The One” with Mary J Blige and “Off That” are the big singles he’s putting out. Off That is going to be on Jigga’s upcoming The Blueprint 3, which should turn Drake into a mainstream star overnight. At that point Drake tickets are going to be huge. If you have a chance you better see Drake soon because pretty soon he’s gonna be selling out arenas all over the place.
